01 Yukon G80 GT4 rear axle failure? Spider damage

What do you think caused the tips of the spider gears to get chewed up? There's nothing wrong with anything else I pulled the carrier and checked everything else! Its just the spiders.

Is this that junkyard axle or the original? Maybe one or both axles was bent.

It’s the original I didn’t pull the entire axle just enough to get the carrier out! But when I had it up off the ground the wheels turned true

miles and a right foot is my guess. i burned up a locker in a 2500 hd 14 bolt full floater. lots of snow plowing and 100,000 miles. got that replaced with 40 miles left on my warranty too

you need wipe a magnet through the lube that you drained out of it. or filter it through a screen

Did that there’s plenty of metal powder in the oil and a nice flower on the cover magnet

I’m. Not sure yet I put a Boneyard axle in I may just take it back for the core
