After swapping out a stripped-out reaction sun shell in my fiancee's 2001 Yukon XL Denali and getting everything buttoned back up, I'm at the end of my rope with a no crank/no start. Upon turning the key to the on position, the PRNDL displays normally, but after 10 to 15 seconds, the line underneath park goes away, and if you shift out of park, it goes away instantly.
I swapped the park/neutral switch, but nothing changed. I'm pretty confident that I'm facing a wiring issue, but I'm not too certain what voltages I should be reading, and whether or not they must be checked in the crank position or not.
I would really appreciate any advice anybody can offer, as my fiancée and our kids desperately need the truck back after being without transportation for a few weeks now.
Respectfully,
John
