Stumped on what could be causing this...i have a 2002 Escalade with the 6.0 **. Truck fired right up this morning, but the message center was flashing (Security)(Battery)(Low Fuel)..check engine, abs, brake, and airbag lights are all on. As well as fuel gauge, trans temp, and temperature dropped. Had a friend scan it. and ended up with a few codes. P0420,P0706,P1571,P1626,U1041,U1056 and U1064. Checked all my grounds and majority of module connections. truck still runs fine. Any info would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I guess nobody has ever had this problem....My local mechanic says the BCM could be the problem. But what is odd is everything the BCM controls is working. it is just not communicating with other modules.

Before checking out the price of that BCM, go buy a new battery. On two different GM and a Honda vehicles that had similar problems, I replaced the battery and the weird problems went away. Batteries can start failing internally in a way that can cause malfunctioning modules in GM vehicles. These batteries can often pass the load test that auto stores and mechanics use.

Pull connectors at BCM and check for corrosion(Clean if needed) then reseat. Pull and clean grounds directly behind engine on the firewall. Clean the ground lug AND the firewall side that the ground lug is mounted to. Common place for corrosion to start.
