02 LS vs 08 LT

I'm kind of annoyed that some of the stuff my 02 LS has is missing on my 08 LT.

The stuff my LS has that the LT is missing...

puddle lights
heated mirrors
lights in bottom of door panels
garage door opener (home link)

Funny how the factory got cheaper when they built the "better" model.

I still am in love with the 08, just aggravated this stuff I like on the 02 is missing...

For the puddle lights and heated mirrors, you need to upgrade to DL3 mirrors from a ltz or esky...you will have to get a new drivers window switch as well if you do that upgrade.
I agree with you on the lights, you would think this would be a standard feature, or a feature at all in nnbs, I have not seen any nnbs with door panel lights.
I also have not seen any new tahoe without homelink....are you sure you don't have it?

My 07 yukon SLE came without that stuff too. I did the DL3 mirror swap. Bought both mirrors off ebay for 300 shipped. I also bought a Homelink off a Tahoe for 50 shipped was all plug and play.

And the mirrors u have now should be heated. It comes on with the rear defroster button.

That's pretty surprising that GM included that stuff on an LS then the next gen same vehicle it only comes on the LTZ...

I have all that stuff on my LT3. Do you know what level of LT you have?

I have a 1LT. None of that stuff came on mine.

i had an 07 sierra SLE with CLOTH seats but power folding blinking mirrors, 6 disc cd changer and home link. my 2010 LT tahoe has leather but not power folding OR blinking mirrors or home link or 6 disc changer, but it has rear entertaiment but only the one with the audio controls on the rear not the dvd player. this annoys me too seeing as how you would think the leather truck has all the bells and whistles. but for 2010 tahoes i dont think theres LT 1,2, or 3 i think and LT is just an LT

The mirrors might be an upgrade I'll do later then. It'd be nice if that included the folding mirrors too- probably does if its from the esky. Maybe I'll watch the classifieds here for a pair.... Let me guess- I have to install the mirrors, plug them in and then take the truck to the dealer so they can "program the option" for $150.

Homelink is still on the front overhead console, right? I have nothing! Just the maplights and passenger airbag status. I've also got the third row delete on this one which I have never seen before. Dealer figured it was specially ordered that way- they'd never seen one either. And I don't mean the seats just aren't there- the mounts for the seats aren't there either! Adds a sh*t-ton of room back there though. My 02 has got the third row and even with three kids, I've only used it twice since June.

Do they not have the little heated symbol on the mirror glass like the 02? Since the symbol wasn't there, I just assumed they weren't heated.

The trucks get more expensive every year with less stuff on them.....

The stock mirrors off my yukon didn't have the sysmbol either but are heated.
What I did with the master switch is that I bought one off from an escalade and didn't need it to be programed just had to switch out the woodgrain and voila.
If you buy the DL3 mirrors they all come with power fold signal heated and driver comes with the dim feature.
