With the front driveshaft off, then the front would always show slippage. I remember guys complaining about it rolling away when 1 wheel was jacked and not chocked. Better look in manual. I know some can't be towed without damage.

I’m pretty sure you’ll damage it. I might try backing it out of the garage to park it in the driveway under its own power with near zero throttle, but if I thought it had any noticeable slippage during that I’d turn it off

I have mixed answers so far. My co-worker figures I will damage it. The Diff rebuilder says it should be fine.
I've driven it a little so far with out the diff and i notice a whine some times when accelerating moderately from a low speed. If im gentle on the throttle then I dont here the whine.
