03-06 steering wheel upgrade

How involved is it to swap a 03-06 steering wheel into my 02 Yukon? I love the look of the newer wheels but I know there's a few big differences involved.

I have been looking at the Grant brand steering wheel. I have seen mixed reviews on the build quality. Some are perfect ,then some are really bad.

From what I understand, it requires swapping the entire steering column out because the spline that the wheel is mounted on is different between the pre-2003 trucks to the 2003-2006 trucks.
