03 denali compcam ratio rockers

i tried installing the comp cam ultra gold ratio rockers 1.72 with new comp cam standARD LENGTH PUSH RODS... i found that the standard length rods were too long and were opening the valves way to much too early....2003 deNLI 6.0L any one have ideas or parts numbers for the right right push rods or do i have to do the cut to length rods...ps sorry for the caps almost every time i hit the letter a i hit the caps key! the comp cam tech support has no clue on what is wrong with the kit they sent me and said it should work since im vin number U 6.0L......if any any has done ratio rockers on the lq4 please help a member sweetin the ride!!....THANKS

so i need to do a cut to fit

so i will need the push rod that has the threads that adjust length longer and shorter and do adjustments then take measurements then get push rods made by comp cams?where would i get that type or push rod that adjusts ..i have all the measuring tools or do i make the rod myself?...thanks for the help ive jus been waiting to get this install done and retune and see how it works out

Try texas speed or summit. Its just a pushrod length checker. Measure and purchase the proper length. I am positive a quick call to comp cams and they will provide the proper information for thier product

ratio rockers with zo6 cam

once i get the push rods correct would it be possible to still do a z06 cam or will that change my valve train set up?

I think he did...

the comp cam tech support has no clue on what is wrong with the kit they sent me and said it should work since im vin number U 6.0L

compcam

compcam is totally confused on how the kit will not work and told me that they have never done a denali 364...rockers and rod were stress tested on escalade 6.0L and last I thought that the denali and ecalade 6.0L"s have different cylinder heads and piston heads .....im not sure if thats why its wrong...maybe the piston head and cyl.head make the clearence i would need for the kit

I just put scorpian 1.8 ratio roller rocker arms on my 5.3 no issues.

bolt on?

and when u did the install did u have to use different push rods or u jus left them in there and torqued down ....also i have no poly locks onb mine did do u think it would help me if i did?
