Hello TYF,
I've been a follower since i bought my tahoe earlier this year, but this will be my first post.
I finally decided to buy some new bulbs for my DRLs, due to the fact you could see they were burned out. I thought that was the only issue. I removed them from the housing, and the inside of the driver's side DRL is completely scorched and melted, as well as the bulb that was in it (sylvania 4114). The passengers side appears to be just a burned out bulb (no visible damage/melted plastic on the harness for the bulb), but when i put a new bulb in and tried out the DRLs for results, it would not illuminate. I pulled the relay from the box and saw no damage, so that's good, but i'm wondering if you guys can give me tips on troubleshooting where the short is, before i buy/find a replacement harness(s) to put in it's place.
If you would like me to provide any further information, please let me know and i will.
