The ones I pulled out of my door were 15071117, were these replaced at some point?

I'm not sure exactly but I know that certain serials change through time because of updated models

Oh okay, well I ordered two for the front with overnight shipping so I will try popping one in tomorrow and let you know. I have the door panel off on the passengers side already.

Get aftermarket , don't replace paper cone speakers with the same ones.
What do you think will happen later on, the same issue.
Unless you don't plan on keeping the truck for long.
I only get oem parts if available , but with speakers I say go aftermarket. Especially if paired up with an aftermarket deck
