So my rear Defrost is not working at all same as my rear wiper. The wiper just makes a "click click click" sound when I turn it on but doesn't move at all.
This is what I'm using to test the defrost (VDC 20)
I get a reading around 8.0 all around the defroster grid (Left and Right tab) but its not heating up at all. On the front when I turn it on theirs a "click" sound as well as when I turn it off.
When I disconnect a tab and connect it again in front on the dash it says "rear door ajar" I plug it in again and remove it again and it does the sound thingy and says "rear door ajar" again.
On my Astro I repair the grid as some were broken one side I would get this big volt reading and on the other side of the crack I would get 0 but for the Tahoe it jumps around 8.0 and docent stay steady.
How can I troubleshoot this? Can some one check the reading on their working defroster?

Or just like in this post its all just a bad ground? I'm going to try this put a wire from the wiper motor the the door, that seem to fix the problem for many people here.
