03 Tahoe Will Not Start???

Hello everyone,new guy here. Hopefully you guys can help me. We have an 03 Tahoe and my wife got in it the other day and it would not run. It would start but immediately die. And now I haven't had much luck of getting it to start at all. I checked the fuel pressure and the pressure does'nt budge with the key on,or being turned over. I put a funnel in the gas fill hole and listened for the pump while my wife turned the key on and I can here the pump running. Amost sounds like a gurgling sound(not sure if thats normal). Seems like to me if the pumps running I should get some kind of pressure. Not sure. I was thinking about going ahead and replacing the pump but I'm afraid that would not fix my problem.
Anybody have any advice or suggestions? Anything would greatly be appreciated.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime before you try to start it? turn the key to the on position (dont try to start it) and listen for a buzz coming from the fuel tank. The buzz will last about 2 or 3 seconds and then stop. Thats usually my tell tale sign of a bad fuel pump.
How many miles are on the truck.

Yes it is priming,but no fuel pressure.

Is you MIL lit up? Do you have a code reader?

check the fuel pressure regulator under the hood on the rail. Lift the tube from the FPR, if fuel comes out then replace it.

Already checked for codes,none. I'll check the fuel pressure regulator.

Sorry to just now update but it ended up being the fuel pump. So just a heads up just because you hear the pump,doesn't mean it's putting out pressure. My old pump would'nt even budge the needle on my guage,but you could hear the pump running. Weird because it was running great when we parked it. Got up for work and nothing. Not sure what happened to it. I installed a new pump and all is good now.
