I just taking the TB and Maf out for cleaning. I noticed that there is a lot of yummy oil build up behind the TB. Thats normal? Feels like Oil paste.
Thanks.

That's your fuel pressure regulator, and should be connected to manifold vacuum.

Thanks for the link' but nada. Can't figure out where this vacuum line is supposed to go, nor, if it is affecting anything at all. All I know is that vacuum can screw up a lot of things. There is already an newer TB installed and I just spend some time cleaning up the connections that were made. Added a little bit of contact grease to some connectors and cleaned the MAF. Greased up the ground on the firewall and found two mor grounds under the truck, right below the drivers door. Anyway ' I'll keep searching for this vacuum line. I have a nipple on the passenger side, maybe it goes there.! I'm new to this and who knows what previous owners have done/upgraded. Time will tell.

My vacuum line from the fpr connects to a nipple on the manifold where the round plug with a cross on it is on yours. In your picture, just right of the large harness.

If you can, twist the plug out on the driver side, remove the nipple from the passenger side, and swap them so you can connect the fpr. You don't have a vacuum leak at the moment, but you do have static fuel pressure which will hurt performance. The fuel pressure should ramp up with increased vacuum/rpm to help atomization.

Thanks again' will research this and fix asap along with the spark plug's and wires. Not knowing better, i bought copper plugs since this is what the Ford's like.
Oh boy' what a difference. Before today' i'll never seen a TB where an coolant Hoses are connected to. Thats a totally different world for a hobby mechanic/me. :sorry sign:
does anyone know if i could "twist the plug out" and relocate to the other side.? (or i try at U-Pull first).
Thanks fellow members.

Typical mod is to bypass the throttle body with the coolant line.

The long hose from radiator, plug it into the nipple the little hose is connected to. Discard small hose.
