04 suburban multiple misfire/limp mode?

It’s fine only until I accelerate hard. On normal acceleration it’s fine but only sometimes i can feel the engine has a misfire so I get off the gas to prevent the multiple misfire condition. I will have to wait for the weekend to check the fuel pressure. This is my daily driver so it’s drivable as long as I don’t hard accelerate.




The intake assembly that exists prior to your throttle body

I will look into that. I did notice yesterday the chrome top plate on the cone filter came off. Can that possibly be the cause?

Now I can’t recall if I removed the plugs when I did the header install. This problem started about 3 months later. Is it possible it can be damaged spark plugs? Also I didn’t put the spark plug shields back on. Would any of these be the problem?
