Why another tac? You weren't getting that code before right? Sounds like the pedal sensor to me but you said you went back to the original. Remind me, did you check all the grounds?

Ok going back to the thread I did get that code. I did check all the grounds and just rechecked them. I got the TAC module for $10 bucks so I was like cant beat the price. So far after mixed driving and 1hr stop and go traffic along with street driving the CEL has not come on. I know for a fact with all that driving the light wouldve come on. Lets hope that solves the issue.

Weird you would need another tac, but hope it works for you, be sure connections are tight, it sucks cause it only takes a millisecond to trip the reduced engine may not even really have a problem just miscommunication for that time, good luck

Lets hope so man. So far since thursday of daily driving up and down all the way till today no light has popped up. If by this thursday I get no light we will be on safer side of the whole dilemma.

Yup hope all goes well, you could spray your connections with electronics cleaning spray and put some bulb or dielectric grease on them just to be sure it's not a connection.

Too soon to call it done. The CEL light came on again P2135 I have ran out off options here.

I rechecked everything plugs harness tac module and nothing changes. I had it running for a good hour pulling and tugging on the harness and connectors but no CEL. Its been about 3 days since it last happened and I cannot get the CEL light Reduced Engine to come on. I drove it in mud,dirt roads I pushed it hard which is something i dont do plus 2 hrs in traffic return trip for these past 3 days to no luck.

That's what I meant about maybe not even having a problem, that all it takes is a millisecond of miscommunication to trip the reduced engine. Did you try all the connections other than just the tac?

I did try the connector on the pedal and the throttle body. Further inspection found out it had a cracked front diff and a leaking radiator.

Being that it might have a gremlin issue and a couple other things I was forced to trade it in and came home with a 08 Impala LTZ. The yukon served us 4yrs and saved us from a wreck who knows maybe some wires where pinching or something along those lines. I will get back into a Yukon here real soon but most likely will be a short base yukon. Meantime I have my 06 Silverado to work on now. Lifter job here we go.

Wow sorry man, I sold mine too about a year ago and regret it everyday even with issues
