04 yukon denali rear delphi shocks? ripped bags?

hi forum,

my 04 yukon denali rear delphi shocks look ripped and i get the service ride control error on the dash

I took it to the local mechanic but he said the shocks and compressor are all fine. He ran the compressor with a jumper to show me.

I was wondering if those rubber bags are just dust covers because I thought they were the air bags.

Im not sure as they look as if the bottom is held by a zip tie. heres a picture below.

im not sure because the yukon front and back is level, the rear is not bouncing or riding low.

It shouldn't ride level. The rear should be higher than the front.

My nali rode like complete shit with the bags blown out like that. Rocked like a boat. When the mechanic jumps the compressor does air blow out of the gaping holes in the bags?
