Hello everyone! So i just picked up a 2004 gmc yukon slt with onstar steering wheel buttons and the bose package and looking to put a new deck on it. I went to a car audio shop here in Calgary and was told that for the bose speakers/amp, onstar and steering wheel buttons and deck to work i would need a harness which will cost $380 plus an additional $120 for the steering wheel buttons to work with everything.

Now i was wondering if anyone knows what these 2 different harnesses i need are so everything works and maybe i can get them online for cheaper? Not looking to spend $500 just to have bluetooth if i don't have to.

Thank you in advance!

The PAC Rp5-gm11 is $90 on amazon in the US. Its retains your steering wheel controlls as well as the door chimes. You can also use metra part . They have the awsc1 for the steering wheel controls and the gmos4 or 5 for the chimes. I went with the pac as its one integrated unit. Good luck.

Oh awsome! And this retains the bose system? I could care less about onstar.

Unless I've been misinformed, the on star systems in these doesn't even work anyway anymore because it was analog. Could be wrong, maybe it's even earlier Onstar, I've never used it so not sure.
