04 Yukon wants to stall randomly. What is going on??

I have had this issue for id say 3 weeks maybe just didn't get enough time to trouble shoot it. Heres whats going on. Only at around 1800 - 2000 rpm ish 2nd gear, the truck feels like it either stalls, shuts off or whatever it wants to do. if its at around those rpms only or if im slowing down from 3rd to 2nd or 2nd to 1st hard to tell sometimes. when it happening it last for about 3-4 seconds, ill keep hitting the pedal and nothing and no responce at all with throttle or anything. the thing is, my lights dont dim at all, when it does happen my display says "traction active". when it comes back to life its like nothing happened. very weird. and it only happens id say every 20-30 stop and goes. when i driving like normal everything is fine. just in that rpm range within those gears. i have had an evap leak for a while before i didnt get to either. (prally seloniod or canister) who knows. guys have any tests or questions or anything let me know.

Are you getting any codes?
Clean the throtte body, mass air flow meter and inspect the air intake hose for holes. While you are driving and braking shift to neutral and let me know if it still wants to stall

Code i get is P045- Powertrain (Evap leak) but if had that for a while.
I hooked it up to the smoke tester at work and didnt find any leakes. even got a new gas cap. if i float the RPMS at arounf 1500 to 2100 in either park or nautral, nothing. but again once in a while it looses power 1st 2 second or even kicking down from 2nd to 1st at the same rpm range. other day i took intake box off and the tube. and cleaned it all and throttle body. it wasnt even that bad since i cleanded it all last year.
still have to catch it and put it in neutral. it catches me offgaurd and im wft again really??? when i catch it ill let u know!

I have the same thing with my 04 Yukon, except mine is when I am idling. It will be sitting at 500 rpm, it will come down to 300rpm, the lights will flicker for 3 or so seconds, then right back to 500 rpm like nothing happened. If I throw it in neutral, the rpm will go right back to 500. I am throwing no codes. I currently have 210,000 miles, it started back at around 120,000. It will happen maybe once a day for a week or so, then won't do it again for a few months. Mine has a clean throttle body, I changed the MAF when I threw that code a few months back. Back when it started I changed the fuel pump (had an afternoon free, why not) and that didn't change anything. I actually logged in tonight to write this up but you beat me to it!

Rfried/OB 04 Denali , if you throw it in neutral, and the rpm go back to normal that means you might have a bad torque converter. You need to get your tranny checked out soon.

i havent cought it yet to throw it in nautral yet. only put it in neutral and left it around those RMPS

Hello, sorry to wake the dead. Any other ideas as I have a similar issue. Same hang up when coming out of a complete stop (goes away when I turn off stability control), but always now since that started when I come to a stop I don't get any codes or lights, the truck acts like I'm coming to a screeching stop or I slammed on the brakes which I never do. It seems like the abs trying to work, but why the hang up when taking off? I have noticed it does this even when I roll to a complete stop in neutral. Any ideas would be helpful. Oh yeah 05 Denali 186k.
