Thanks for all the input guys I really appreciate it! Here's what happening as of right now: The other day my friend came over with his OBD II scanner to see if it was giving any codes but the battery was dead. I had high hopes that magically after i charged the battery back up it might give me something but it came up no codes as i figured. Not even with the tire moniter, air bag, and service stability messages on. Not to mention now the truck wont start again. I don't hear the pump running but i'm not sure i ever did even tho i was never listening for it while everything was normal. I know some vehicles the pump is quite loud. I put a new fuel pump relay in and still nothing. Im about to put it in the shop because i'm afraid to go through all the work for the pump and its something small and cheap. It's never stalled on me or shut off. Only stumbled the smallest bit a couple times at different red lights and random times. I've been ******* it on big hills and gettin on it on the highway here and there in between when it would run just to try and see if it would stumble but it never would. Just doesnt make sense that the only thing is that it wont start for it to be the fuel pump.
Acutally it makes perfect sense. .... Dead spot or two on the armature of the fuel pump motor.(very similar to how a starter acts up when its old and worn) If you cant hear the fuel come on when the key is turned then thats because it aint coming on....not because you have the most super quiet fuel pump in the world. That engine is NOT starting if it doesnt have around 45PSI at the fuel rail. No and ifs or buts about it.

As much as i don't wanna admit it, you guys are probly right. Most of the fuel pumps i'm finding are between 275 and 300. Does that seem pretty average? Or is there somewhere i'm not checking?

Amazon had the cheepest when I looked. Ac delco is good but Delphi has a life time warranty. It's not a nice job if your in the northern part of the country. So buy a good one. I bought delphi. $400 I installed. And again if in the north then buy the straps too.

I wont put anything but an AC Delco or Delphi in my GM. I dont like doing stuff twice.
Couldnt hurt to check for 12vdc at the fuel pump harness to rule out everything forward of the pump . (When you have the no start condition of course).
