Ok maybe I’ve had enough of these lights lol . Had some fogging, that’s fine. Added sealant, still fogging, that’s not fine. Noticed the H1 bulb seat is not sealed and the design doesn’t seal it, majority of headlights are housings within housings and have dust caps so a retrofit isn’t much of an issue with bulb seating. So I was talking with @Thatsquishykid717 about ways to fix it. Gonna take them off tonight and let them dry for a couple days and throw some butyl on the bulb seat to try and see how that works. Hopefully it does400D6A9C-E479-4FFF-BD4D-25AE0E4198CF.jpeg 413882D4-2052-4DC2-93A8-8E5BB9A1263B.jpegA21CB5C7-EB3F-43AF-B4CA-095437E18583.jpeg

Are those the Depos? Anyway, you could try the Gore-Tex patches on them.

Not the depos . These are the APC’s. Also these do have silica pouches in them too

After I get back from work I’ll finish the depos...maybe. Trs parts are still on back order. Literally sealed up from every possibly spot on the housings

Speaking of work, got on with a company up on the Alaska north slope in the oil fields . So 2 weeks on (7 days , 12hr days) , 2 weeks off. Roustabout , mainly front end loader operator.
Should be fun. About a 40% bump in pay, and it’s all because I took the initiative and got my cdl. Went from January this year working 2 jobs at Home Depot part time and construction full time to working in the oil fields in December . 2019 has been crazy to say the least.
Tahoe is gonna get some upgrades

Nice. Congrats on the new job. Can't wait to quit my job. Sounds like a cool job, but I'm not sure about those 12 hr shifts for 2 weeks straight. Gotta let us know how you like it. Good luck.
Did you put some dialectic grease on the round plug/bulb gaskets? Where the bulbs plug into the back of the light housings. ****** gaskets will let moisture in.

That sucks man. Had the same issue with my factory Honda headlight. I sealed it on all sides, but it still fogs. Dammit. It lasted 20 years. Pretty good I guess. Well, I bought some aftermarket Spyder heads and an HID kit for it. Hopefully they don’t leak. I’m planning to try my first retro on those with some Morimoto H1 7.0, before I replace my Yukon’s with some retros.. assuming the first ones go ok.
