Had aittle paint party. Plastidipped the bulbs blue and red over the already black plastidip just as an experiment.

then sprayed some headlight internals for the passive demon eye.

acmes were a dark blue before , not noticeable at all for a demon eye . Poor choice but now I know lol.

make sure to sand the top of the cutoff shield as to not interfere with the cutoff line . Even a little paint on top could make for a funky design on the road

Plastidipped bulbs in crystal housings. Reminds me of the late 90s when colored halogen bulbs were a thing and would reflect the colors on the chrome reflector housings.

I’ll go with blue obviously , but just wanted to show everyone what red looks like . Of course plastidip makes other colors for your choice. Best of all it’s legal and it doesn’t effect light output. It’s a small detail mod , but to me those are always my favorite :leghump:

Even shows up in these housings a little bit . I would imagine in direct sunlight all of these housings would reflect more of the colors. This was a late afternoon with overcast kinda day View attachment 254770View attachment 254771View attachment 254772View attachment 254773
Pretty cool man! Don’t the led housings get pretty warm? I guess you used high temp paint though. Cool that you can see them in the daytime with just a little tint of blue / red.. good work, as usual. When are you moving from Ak? I want to commission you to build me some retros for my Yukon.
