Installation is straight forward. I sprayed some lubricant in side holes by the for the plastics clips to slide in and out easier. They like to get caught and break off sometimes, not all the times but sometimes. 20171019_173304.jpg 20171019_173440.jpg 20171019_173721.jpg 20171019_174325.jpg 20171019_174252.jpgsorry for the messy garage

Before bumper cover install I modded the plate light housings for a brighter output and it seemed to work pretty good.
Took apart the black cover from the clear housing. Cleaned up the clear lenses.

You can install them back in without the black cover and they fit snugly but they obviously have no light direction and I would think be illegal. But since I have a bumper cover going over the housings it's fine for me

Your paint skills are damn good! I wish mine were that good! Haha. I need to redo a few little things on mine and I’m dragging my feet on them because I hate painting haha.
Thanks, I've had years of practice with both cans and guns. Like riding a bike, once you learn you never forget, just keep practicing and it'll become easier and easier. Painting is like meditation to me, so soothing for my soul,.... I just hate sanding....but everyone does lol

Cm the surround of the HD grille, leave the bar chrome, with the wheels and esky rack and the handles which also would have a cm’d surround and chrome pulls, jackpot winner winner. Just subtle touches of chrome. I remember seeing NBS chrome tow hooks too in LMC catalog, I was going to get them.

And all your paint looks great, and I’m def not an expert, but I have heard its better to spray rattle can vertically instead of horizontally, don’t know if it makes a difference.
Although what you explained pictured in my head would look super clean, I hate chrome as much as @Rocket Man does. It may take me some time but I'll eventually rid my vehicle of chrome in the end. Just remember I'm decladding these wheels.

And I don't know about horizontal or vertical , I just spray side to side like you would a gun lol

Back to the plate lights.
So I cut the black cover to let more light out. But kept a lower part so it can still clip in and have a border with no gaps for when and if anyone takes a closer look at the lights , doubtful as they're pretty tucked away under the bumper cover....but I'll still know lol.

Then I went to the bumper cover. This is what's gonna make the light brighter. On the back side I stuck on some aluminum tape to reflect the light

And it's hard to tell but I swear they're brighter lol
