At one point I mocked up some clear black housings but wasn't a fan.

I have those same JDM Astar switchbacks and I put their matching led in the DRL. I had to take my 6low mod out because with switchback, drl, and low beam I got flashed by every other car I passed.

They are so bright that it made it look like I had 3 low beams. I love them even though the other people on the road probably hate me.

Toss those drls and wire in another set of those switchbacks like I did

At first I wanted to do that so it was just like one big light on the bottom but too many people flashed their highs at me when I would run both bottom lights at night.

You do have a good point, the other night in the span of 10 mins of driving country roads I had 3 cars in a row leave their brights on as we passed each other.

Lol I probably do even though I do have my projector cut offs aimed so they are just below the car in fronts side mirrors when sitting at stop lights.

Speaking of projectors. Tested the new fogs out . Could easily use these as actual headlights lol
This is with a 6000k hid 880 bulb while waiting on new xentec 5000k H11 bulbs, broke the tabs on the ones I had before because of the design of the bulb. New bulbs I'll have to shave and the base and add a washer.
(Garage is a disaster right now)
