Shoot. The Nissans did look good. LTZs better. Lol

I have a set of matte black LTZs on 20s (5k Miles total) and the Suburban chrome LTZs could find a home too.

Too bad you are soooo far away.
If they nissans were 20s I'd still have them.

Side project for some friends. Remember, never toss your old tails because they're faded over time. 9 out of 10 times they can be brought back to life with a little wet sand, cut , and polish 20180907_171031.jpg 20180907_172717.jpg 20180907_232249.jpg

This is where things get interesting. Ive had 2 jobs past 5 months and still do, 70+ hours a week m-f. Not much time to post or do mods, but parts are stacking up and just recently I've had time to catch up. So once I had a couple weekends off I was hustling on the wife's car and the truck.

Painted a rear door handle without a key hole to install in the front door to deter thieves because GM 00-06 gm trucks are being stolen at an insane and alarming rate here in AK. Scheduling remote start and gps alarm here in a couple weeks.

Was silver birch off a Denali. Heres base coat

Sold my original valance and got another without the hole in it (check previous posts) they only come in grey so once again I plastidipped ot black for a dark satin look. Matches the 05 lip perfectly.20180901_191752.jpg

Took off the bumper pad for painting. That was a biiiiitch getting rid of the texture :emotions122:. Sanding, filler primer, more sanding, more filler primer, more sanding then custom mixed base and of course 2k clear 20180901_231135.jpg 20180909_155704.jpg 20180909_231508.jpg 20180911_143448.jpg

That indigo metallic blue pops like no other. Nobody believes me when I say its oem.
Of course any orange peel will need to be wet sanded after 30 days. Last time I didn't wait 30 days to wet sand my pillars , thats why they were a little messed up.

Up here to the right
From the day I got this Tahoe I wanted nnbs tahoe ltz 20s. After waiting i finally got them. Best looking factory wheel on a nbs imo . Nissans still looked clean, dont even lie.:p

The ltzs are hard to find up here in good shape. I get offers weekly asking if I'd sell them, unless I find a good deal on the right looking oem 22s:D

I want to do my front bumper so bad too. I had a front valance that had no holes, I didn't want/need it, so I trashed it. Oh well.

Hopefully you laid that spraymaxx on when the blue was still wet or tacky. If the base was dry when you put the clear on it will peel right off

I used it on my bike when I painted it and it peeled off cus I let the base dry. But when I did my grill I did my last coat of base. Waited 5 min and when the black was tacky I laid the clear

Also it looks amazing I can't wait to see it all together. You make me want to get paint and redo my bumpers hood and roof
