Hopefully you laid that spraymaxx on when the blue was still wet or tacky. If the base was dry when you put the clear on it will peel right off

I used it on my bike when I painted it and it peeled off cus I let the base dry. But when I did my grill I did my last coat of base. Waited 5 min and when the black was tacky I laid the clear

Also it looks amazing I can't wait to see it all together. You make me want to get paint and redo my bumpers hood and roof
It was a day later as I ran out of time and had to go to my second job:uhoh2: I prefer to spray wet on wet if possible.

Next day I scuffed up the base and sprayed the clear. Hopefully it holds up :boxing:

When I took the valance off I broke all but one of the 15 plastic retainer clips. Old and weathered so it was expected. Went to autozone to buy some, found them at $4 a piece. So instead of rushing and spending $60 on clips I found 20 on Ebay for $8, u.s. seller "oem" quality lol. Take about a week to get here.

Did you get them from clipsandfasteners.com? That's where I get mine from. Are they the same as the inner fender liner ones?

I want to do my front bumper so bad too. I had a front valance that had no holes, I didn't want/need it, so I trashed it. Oh well.
I meant this hole to the right of the licence plate. PO had a hitch with wiring coming through the valance. I always want the factory holes cut out for fogs.a64c21a81a1a74bcd87f6904e9618bc8.jpg

I bought a front bumper off a Silverado that had a valance without tow hook or fog light holes, but it did have those "square plates" where they were supposed to be. I would've kept it, but I was still in an apt at the time.

Northstardistributingusa is the seller. But I guess gm used these clips from 99-15 or something crazy like that. And I'm not sure, I've never replaced my inner fender liners yet.

I just ordered some of that Spraymax clear, and the Dupli-Color factory touch up paint so I can paint the parts I need to replace since my luttli wreck last week. I've never used it before, so I hope it comes out looking good. I need to paint a bumper, bumper cap, a fender, and a hood.

Of you've sprayed anything before your notice its very user friendly, sprays even and lays down nicely. My front bumper and cap will need a wet sand to get rid of the orange peel, not even that noticable. My Denali rear bumper cover and appliques layed down so smoothly they dont even need wet sand.

And I've used the spraymaxx over duplicolor products before with great results.
