Amsoil is good stuff. It's about $5 more than Lucas or ACDelco for a gallon from Amazon.

Does anyone have a picture of a 06 g80 eaton locker. Because from what I been looking up online seems different to what I saw when I changed my fluid. When I opened my differential I saw springs. And when I look online the eaton g80 looks more mechanical.

Exactly like that ? Really. It should look like this.
You need to talk to the shop that rebuilt your rear end, ask them what they put in it since it looks like they changed your G80 out with something else, ask them what fluid to use and if you need additive, and then ask them why the f they didn’t let you know this important information.
