Got to work on sealing the back side of the headlights today. I made the enclosures out of Bondo, sorry didn't have the camera at work so could not document the process. I basically covered the opening with duct tape, then bondoed on top of that. Once the Bondo was dry, removed the whole thing and took out the duct tape.

Dry fitting the housing after removal of the duct tape, it fits perfectly. I will still be able to adjust the headlight and do maintanance on it doing it this way. Will sand it down and paint it to make it look a little more professional, but not necessary.

I mounted the ballast right on the housing as you can see in this picture. Has a lot of room on this side so if anyone else is doing this, I think this spot on the headlight is the perfect place to put the ballast.

Wire from the ballast to the back of the projector is snaked right inside the housing, keeping it nice and dry.

Is that because the projector sticks out that far? Hopefully the radiator brace won't be in the way

My projector stuck out past the radiator brace, as a matter of fact it sits right next to it. If I went 1/4" to the left or right of each side, I would not have been able to do this at all. Not sure how the lights sit on the Tahoe, but you might have a problem with a quad setup. Unless you plan on doing some mods to the brace itself.

It has been 2 years and I still haven't put this thing on my truck. It's a shame, but I think I would like to put these lights up for sale. Wondering what you guys think is a fair price for them? I know a set fully built cost around $1000 for them, so just curious if I were to put them up for sale, what would be a fair price.

On the tahoe is the same deal at least just with my inner projects . I was running non-HIDS for a while until today I decides to cut a 2x2" hole on my radiator frame so the hid bulb that sticked out fits in snugly .
