07 Brakes Screeching

I have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ, and the brakes are making an insane amount of noise. It sounds like I'm driving a train, and is driving me insane to the point where I'm considering getting rid of it. I have taken it to two different dealerships multiple times to get new pads and rotors, yet the noise is still there. I have attached a video so you all can hear what I am talking about. I don't know what the problem is or if it is even the brakes but it only happens when I am stopping and pressing the brake pedal and at low speeds (generally around <15mph), so I don't know what else it could be at this point. Noise from front or rear? Work at 2 dealers done at front or rear or both? The rear brakes have to work correctly or the fronts will overheat and make noise quickly. What parts exactly were replaced at the 2 dealers? Pads and rotors both times? Front only?

Noise is from rear. Front and rear pads (Ceramic) and rotors replaced at first dealership, OEM pads installed and rotors resurfaced at second on front and rear.

There is so much that goes in to a brake job. The pads need to be quality, rotors too and make sure the surfaces of the pads and rotors are completely clean when goes back together being careful not to get dirt on the surfaces during reassembly. Any moving components at the rotor mount and caliper mount need to be cleaned with wire brush and lubed with the correct high temp grease. The rotor mount surface has to be clean and flat. The calipers need the correct pad hardware replaced with new and lubed at contact points. Make sure all moving parts and slide areas move freely. When all back together make sure the caliper pistons relax back in the cylinder after each brake pedal application or they will cause the pad to rub too much on rotor surface and cause heat and therefore noise. The pads have to be seated in correctly during the very first road test. If any of those steps were skipped or not done correctly with quality parts then that is a recipe for problems/noises.

That's what I would say was your problem right there. The tech at the dealer probably drove it too ******* the test drive and glazed the rotors. Of the 3 NNBS I've owned all of them had brakes that sounded like a school bus. Quality parts and following break-in procedure is critical.

Considering these are brakes from the dealership I'm surprised.

I had this problem on my 05 after I performed a brake job as part of upgrading the brake system, new calipers, rotors, and pads that came with the rotors. They were supposed to be quality ceramic pads but I have to wonder when they come bundled with the aftermarket rotors, just how high quality are they?

Messed around with it for about 2 weeks, flushing and bleeding the system again since I did have it totally open to change 4 calipers out and it never got any better. Finally, I replaced the pads that came with the rear kit with some quality ones and no more noise.

I have an 07 Tahoe LTZ as well and just watched your video. I have the SAME EXACT NOISE happening to mine. The rears have plenty of pad left and I just replaced the fronts with ACDELCO Durastop pads and advantage rotors and nothing has changed. Mine start doing it after driving it for a while when it warms up. Please tell me you have found a solution because it is driving me insane. Thanks!
