07 gmc yukon afm block to older non afm block swap?

ok i got this thought , maybe i could remove the afm engine and put an older 5.3 i have laying around in the o7 yukon what could go wrong. waiting for the list of problems i would get

When I had a lifter failure in my 08 I scrambled to find a solution and one thing I asked about was getting a gmt800 motor and I was told that it would not be worth the effort to convert the gmt900 electrics to accept the older style motor.

As Dustin lead on- It's not worth the hassle. Among the other tedious workarounds, the biggest is that you would have to swap the 24x reluctor wheel on the crankshaft to a 58x wheel. This would require removing the crankshaft. At that point, you may as well rebuild the engine. If you're gonna rebuild, you may as well rebuild your '07 engine but with the AFM parts deleted. If your '07 doesn't need rebuilding and just needs AFM deleted, just do that.
