I have been having the same issue on my 07 Tahoe, The problem is a loose connection in a wiring harness under the back of the drivers seat or at least mine was. If you jiggle the harness the light will come on and off.

Ok. That makes since as I was just under there fiddling with the headrest t.v. wiring

No, my issue was with the sensor, not the airbag.

Thanks for reminding me, I got a notification about the airbag recall, was supposed be contacted about the replacement but never got anything?
