I recently installed belltech 5321 springs (2" drop)on the rear of my 07 non-autoride 4x tahoe.

Today I had a shop install the Belltech 12462 springs on the front with the two spacers which is advertised to provide a 1" drop in the front.

I really am liking this as it tightened it up ,no more mushy, bouncy body roll.

Thing is I am measuring 34" from floor to front fender and 36" from floor to quarter (3/8 difference left to right, I made a spacer for the left side).

I am thinking I could get the 3" drop rear belltech springs and DJM hardware kit and bring the rear down a bit more and still not have the front higher than the rear.

Am I right, or will this make it sit too low in the rear?

It will make it sit too low in the rear, I think. I have the 2" spindles up front, and it's REALLY close to looking too low in the rear in certain circumstances.

I don't know if I mentioned this to you, specifically, but I usually say to just do the full 2" spindle kit up front, since everyone seems to eventually want the front (and rear, which then requires the spindles too, I say) lower than use the 1" they THINK will be fine initially.

Trust me -- I've done it all. Just the rear lowered, rear lowering kit pulled, rear kit back on + 1" coil relocators (= wrecked shock), back to stock with 1" LIFT in the front, to 2" drop spindles and 3" rear kit (current set up).

You could save yourself the time and trouble by going the full drop route sooner rather than later.

Damn, another addiction, I am going to blame you guys just like I blame the guys on FALFILES for my other addiction. I can't seem to stop building FN FAL type rifles!

do you have shock extenders in rear?? if not you can do the 5305 springs in rear and add a 1 inch spacer (which comes wiht the kit) then just buy the other 1 inch spacer and you should be set to go. The 5305 springs with the djm hardware kit i have on mine I love it. then again i have a few more upgrades back there but still love the 5305.

Do you have any pics of this setup. I've got a 2007 LT3 AWD with non-autoride. I'd like to atleast drop the front to the stock 2wd height and level the rear. Thanks,

A pic would be great, I just got my belltech 2" rear springs and hangers today. Was going to wait till they are in to decide about the front. Did you use the stock shocks on the rear with brackets? If I change my stock shock too and don't go with lowered shocks, what would you recommend for the best ride? thanks,
