What is different with the Y91 coded vehicles?

Just figured this out today after calling PAC audio. pac1416 works with all bose systems except those with the Y91 premium code. There is a sticker in the glovebox that has the codes...If no Y91 then it will work.

Man after all of my searching a definitive answer! Your the best hybrid:Handshake:

You can just go with the PAC SNI35...not plug & play, but not a hard install.

Hmm...will the PAC 1416 totally bypass the stock amp? I was planning on letting it power the rest of the stock speakers & and just add another amp for the sub only.

Right now I have it hooked up, but nothing connected to the RCA's. My stock stereo and everything else works as normal. I currently have a sub amp hooked up using the hi-low converter, but will try a set of RCA's to see if it cuts out before I add my other amp.

In that case I'm already wrong...I thought you had to unplug the stock amp plugs from the back of the headunit to let the PAC plugs go in.
