07 towing package/trailering capability

hello new to the forum, my question is we just purchased an 07 tahoe with what the dealer said was a towing package,after the purchase i`ve learned there is a towing or a trailering package. ours has only the towing pack with 3.23 gears. i`ve since purchased i gm trans cooler but my question is, my camper weight is right around 4000# has anyone towed anything in this weight category, wondering if i`ll be able to pull it at highway speeds or run into any other problems. thanks
