07 Yukon, battery keeps dying?

Hey guys,
My 07 has about 45k miles on it now, just had the battery tested and its cold cranking amps are fine, as is its ability to hold a charge.

However, lately the battery keeps dying while the truck is sitting there for the workday. Only thing I have done to the electrical side of things is install HIDs with a relay. What else could be using up all the charge while the truck is sitting there?

Battery terminals are completely clean and they ran my vin, no outstanding work needed on it.

I had the same problem with my 08' ....... threw in a Yellowtop and all is well ;o)

Either bad relay with the HID's or incorrect wiring... one of those is my guess.

A new battery won't do anything if you still have a problem with battery drain. Find the source, then see if you need to change the battery

Very true. One time I had a weird 35-amp draw that constantly drained my battery. Could not figure out what it was but it randomly went away.

If you have the draw again start unhooking stuff or pulling fuses until it goes away that will pin point the problem

Great move! The stock battery is a joke
