Just recently bought a HI/LOW hid 6000K kit for my yukon. The lights turn off after being on for about a min. Anyone have this problem? I called tech support and spoke to someone which said to disconnect my DRL. I did and still have the same prob. Sent the whole kit back and it tested fine, so its being sent back to me. Can anyone help me out? maybe a bad ground or power connection issue. does anyone or did anyone have this problem. if so what did u do?

If you do not have a relay, then that is your problem. Buy one, and then problem solved.
This is not a common problem so I bet you do not have a relay kit, DDM sells them also.

My Yukon did not require a relay. One thing you might check is did you pull both DRL fuses? I did and the auto function still works fine. I will say that from my install I took the time to get to bare metal for all ground wires and made sure it was a good chassis ground. If you have a meter put it on the ohms scale with one lead to Negative terminal and the other lead to your ground bolt. Check your reading....the closer to zero the better off you are.

Okla if you still do not have a relay I can guarantee you that you will need one soon. We have been through this numerous times in the NNBS section with people talking about how they do not need one then two months later they come on saying "my HIDs went out!"

Isn't the relay built into the DDM harness? That little black box that all the wires originate from...

If you have a Yukon with a bi-xenon kit the relay is built in, I forgot about that part.

Yes it is, the Tahoe does not have a bi-xenon kit so therefore no relay.
