 I don't have any pics ofthe muffler right now but I can definitely get one for you. I'll try and do that tonight. The resonator is only on the nnbs burbs (and oter various vehicles) but not on the nbs rigs. :waytogo:

I'll get you that pic as soon as I can. Overall the body of the muffler is slightly shorter than stock.

I tweaked the tips a bit more tonight to get it a bit further away from the plastic. Can someone with these tips or similar tips compare this to theirs and see if there's is about the same? I'm paranoid about it gettin too hot foe that plastic.

also, I forgot to take a pic of the muffler but I will and it posted up later on.

my tips are about the same distance away. I think I can fit my fingers in between, maybe .75-1" clearance. Had it this way for a couple monthes with no problems

Looks good Jacob! My volant super tips is a one piece all welded together. I didn't realize the slp tip was two separate bolt on pieces. You did a great job installing it!

Thanks! :High 5: Yeah, I kinda like the multiple pieces for the purpose of installing it yourself cuz it's make it easier to adjust and tweak it just right. Eventually I may weld the assembly on but for right now it's on there with the supplied clamps and you can put them on there in a way to where no one sees them so that's nice too. The hardest part was getting the resonator off cuz it's hard to get up there with enough room to cut the pipe and make sure you don't cut on anything else (i.e. brake line ). So you gotta really pay attention when you're doing it :)

Yea I'm not a big fan of bolt on when welding is an option. I had the a local muffler shop cut the resonator/stock tip off and weld on the tips because I do not plan on ever going back to stock. :Handshake:

no doubt! :Handshake: I'll never go back to stock either. It'll be welded shortly but just wanted to get it exactly how I wanted it first before making it permanent :) Stock is definitely NOT for me in this area of modding :D

Burb, is that a stainless steel tip?
I've been told you can't weld ss to whatever metal the tailpipe is made of.

I am not a wleder; but, I do employ welders. They can weld almost metals together with the right rod and the right settings on the welder. I know they have welded stainless to mild steel numerous times for me.
