Yes they do. Thats why I want to switch them out. Was browsing the audio store and compared them to others and the clearest there were the fosgates. They are little more pricey but shop around and you can find deals. Even if you dont want to get subs you can get a nice component set and run the bass through there and will still sound clean with-in moderation of course. I have friends that are running just the components to save weight weight in their street/strip cars and still have nice clean bass.

I ordered a pioneer 4400bh and two headrest monitors. Should arrive early next week. Will eventually have four headrest monitors along with speaker upgrades.
All four headrests now ordered and on their way

Looks like a good head unit.

I bought a Sony one for my van a while back back.... not too happy with it.

The HU should be arriving today :party33: Already received the kits to retain my steering wheel controls and chimes as well as the dash kit. Should have everything in my possession by end of week. I got the Pioneer 4400 per the recommendation of Nathan. I'm pretty stoked about the whole set up really. It's going to be awesome when done. I've had sony HU's in the past and have been less than pleased with them so I won't go down that road again  Once the video is all installed I'll give it a few weeks then most likely start in on that audio portion of the upgrades. Both John and Nathan have given me some great ideas in that department. It'll be a very mild setup but will supply great sound inside the cabin.

Those chime modules have issues...from what I have seen on Crutchfield. I agree with John, they are annoying, but they also make the sound for the turn signals.

I'd like to retain as much of the OEM functionality as possible. The voices in my head drown out any chimes and blinking dash objects anyway

The noise your turn signals will now make will be a relay clicking off and on. With the kit you ordered, it's not through the speakers
