Tried to search and didn't find a ton of good info.

2008 Yukon Denali. Backup camera triggers with reverse, and the screen was very crazy like when a channel is going out on an antenna tv, and now its black. The Warning is still on the top of the screen, so I can only assume the actual video signal is missing.

There is a module under the pass seat, and the camera itself in the hatch. Any good info on testing and figuring out where the issue is? Hate to throw parts at it unknowing the issue...

Conection. At the camera goes bad. Get to the camera and wiggle the wire first.

The physical plug at the camera, or the actual wiring itself? I am assuming u mean the plug...

Camera itself is the issue. I can tap into the harness in the tailgate and get a signal to the screen up front.

Anyone have a good source on factory replacement cameras? $200 seems salty!!!

I have the same issue with my 2008. Just started 2 days ago and now the camera works maybe 25% of the time. I'll be opening it up to check the connection but has anyone tried updating the camera to a 2009 or newer and would that provide the navigation lines on the screen?
