I have a 2024 Yukon Denali that has the 2 speed transfer case and can be flat towed behind a motorhome. When reading the instructions for preparing to flat tow I am instructed to disconnect the negative cable to the battery. What impact will this have on all the electronics in the car while having everything disconnected for 8-10 hours at a time. I have flat towed many GM cars in the past and they only required me to pull fuses which left most electronic items energized. I do not want to experience issues with the electronics once I replace the cable on the negative post of the battery. Disconnecting all power seems to be excessive to me.
Thanks in advance.

Seems to be a required step, mights as well put a disconnect switch in. since you’ll be putting a lot of work into it anyways to get it tow ready, small job. seems not to affect anything as it’s recommended.

Here’s topic on it from tyf.

When I reconnected the battery and began driving the car again I found that Super cruise will not work and foot swish to open tailgate does not work. Any cures or do I need to go to dealer?
