Well we had some good news. The car was acting up again (radio going on-off, misc warnings, etc) while my wife was near the dealer, so I told her to go strait there. Two techs road with her and nothing, but we left it anyway because we had been having the issues for a few days off and on and just hoped that this time the car would mal-function while at the dealer.
Well low and behold the car acted up while at the dealer. He was able to find a bulletin (#PIT4816D) related to symptons and what to check. He found both the positive and negative battery cables voltage drop was out of spec so they replaced both of them.
Now time will tell if it is really fixed, so we are keeping our fingers crossed.
I have a 08 Denali. After driving for extend period, engine idles rough dies when we come to a stop. It does restart after a period of time. So far it has happend 4 times. First time it restarted after a few minutes. After the second it was towed and the dealer replace the throttle body (we were stranded out of town waiting for it to be fixed).
Does GM have any "super" techs that can trouble shoot car problems when there are no computer error codes?
I have an 08 Denali and have had issues with the AC. After driving for about 30 minutes or so, no air at all would blow out of the vents even though you can hear the blower fan runnin like crazy. Neither cold or hot air would blow out. I went to the local GM service shop, told them about the problem and they keep my Denali for over two weeks. When I finally called them they acted like they didn't even have my car. Two days later they called and sait it was done. I still have the same problem. My Denali has been in twice fo the same problem and its not fixed yet. GO GM Service Team!!!!!
It makes you wonder, why didn't the dealer search the TSB's the first time? I think GM needs to improve the training of their dealers.
Are you done yet Sheriff? Geez.
GM does have control over their training and the incentive programs. GM should be focused on its customers, especially if dealers are hurting its image.
