That a 4.8 equipped Tahoe? The other engines have 6-speeds.

In 2004? are you sure? I'm 99% sure the 6l80 is only 09 and up.

The 4.8s used in the Tahoe and Yukon from 2007-2009 had 4-speed transmissions and were RWD. I don't know if they were 4L60s, 4L65s or 4L70s. Probably the former.

ya thats what im saying. the 4l60 was in tahoes up to 09. I know because my 08 had a 4l60. My 13 has a 6l80. Im pretty sure the 6l80 wasn't in any tahoe pre 09.

In 2008 there were a handful of RWD LTZ Tahoes with the 6.2 motor and those had the 6-speed as well. But other than that, you are correct.
