Hey All, I thought I had this problem fixed a year ago when I bought a new AGM battery for my Yukon and my electrical issues had seemed to be gone, for a full year!

Now, this week, wife says when she goes out to start yukon, everything lights up but car only makes a single click noise when trying to turn ignition. After several attempts, the vehicle will start and is fine the rest of the day?

I can't reproduce it at will, it's completely random. Electrical is passing tests, so is starter, alternator and battery. (I keep a spare battery in second battery tray just in case but have not needed it thus far).

I have never replaced the battery cables which I hear is a frequent fix. I know many have had this issue all with different resolutions. If it sounds familiar to yours, let me know what you did to fix it, or if the battery cable fix did the trick, let me know. I think that's what i'm going to do next.

I'll keep that in mind, right now it's just acting up again. Tried to start yesterday morning, no luck, tried again later and it cranked with no issue

Hello joshuaryan,

I understand that you are experiencing electrical issues with your vehicle. You mentioned that you are looking to resolve this issue yourself. I might not be able to provide you any technical support but I would be happy to look into this concern for you. Please private message me if I can be of any assistance.

i havent tried it on a tahoe but what you can try if you know how
next time the key just clicks jump the solenoid and see if it starts if it does that usually means the solenoids bad
