i would say no, but ive been wrong alot of times 
. I just ordered one for my lows, as my fogs havent had a problem yet.

Thanks for the tip. I have seen a couple posts regarding the approach lighting when you unlock your doors. Is there reason to sweat this with HIDs given that the lights could potentially turn on then off after a moment or so if the car is not started soon after?
