Hey everyone in I'm new here. I have a 96 Yukon Slt 4x4 with a 10 bolt 3.42 posi.
So I pulled off the pan and noticed my spider gears were missing teeth. The ring and pinion gear was fine though. So I'm thinking I can just replace the clutch packs and get the spider gear kit and get it back on the road. Any ideas on good places online to shop? Also I'm not sure if it is 28 or 30 spline. Is there a way to know without pulling the pan off again?

I think your axle was made by AAM and you can look up their rebuild kits and see which axles you have. Retailers for their parts are like Amazon, Jegs, Summit Racing, etc.
