A cam would need to have matching flowed heads and intake. I would also have the throttle body bored out as well so it gets plenty of air. Cam's can be ******* motors with over 100,000 miles is what I've been told.

100HP Is a lot though...

Plus that's quite a bit of work to be done in a weekend. If someone has to have their truck for the week they might be calling a cab. lol..

Seeing as how a supercharger can provide ~110HP on average, my spidey sense says that there is no way you would be able to get 100HP with just a cam swap. HP ain't cheap!

When I did my cam swap on my Tahoe, I would say that I may have picked up ~40-50 HP (probably an overestimation at best) but that was with a header swap, rockers, and springs.

I really doubt that a camswap would do 100hp... Do they have dyno sheets to prove it? And yea a cam swap to the average joe would take maybe a day if all goe right

If that dyno graph is correct (which is does not really show which dyno used) it is pretty much stock until 4K RPM (some areas worse than stock). I don't know about you, but I am not in 4K RPM all that often.

It looks like a graph I could make in MS Excel in about 5 minutes
