I'm in the process of installing a cheap Jensen DVD player head unit with the pac rp5-gm31 module. I got it all from crutchfield. I also have a parking brake bypass from eBay. I wired it up, soldered, plug it in. Powers up fine, but the only sound is coming from the center console subwoofer. No sound out the speakers. The PAC is plugged into the amplified port, but it makes no difference.

I would assume the amp is on, from the sub being powered, but maybe it's two separate amps? But The wiring diagram shows one amp trigger wire.

Anyone have any insight?? TIA

I will call crutchfield tech when I get home, if I have to, but hoping it's something simple I did wrong

Did you get them to wire it all up so it basically plug and play?

if all the speakers were working previously then either the module is programmed or set wrong or you wired something incorrectly or have a bad connection.
only other possibility is the amp took a dump or head unit is bad.
double chedk your work, check that the head unit is providing output to all channels.
I would start at the head unit output and go from there.

I bought the truck without a head unit. Speakers are what's installed, they exist, but I might have to check wiring.

did you buy the correct pac unit? the bose system should have more that 4 speakers you should have 9 or even 10 if you have the center dash speaker.
I put all the correct options into the crutchfield order. This unit says it's compatible with either system. I just have the regular Bose I believe

I looked up the part number on the pac website, looks correct you just won't have fade or rear screen function unless you bought a another adapter for the rse
