Picked up a new family war wagon last Saturday. 13 XL Denali. White diamond exterior, cocoa light cashmere interior. 168k runs like a champ. Sold new here in texas and has been here all it's life. Came with original windows sricker, K&N intake and Borla catback. Has some of the usual things from my time in the gm dealership world. Have a few questions about the rear entertainment system as there seems to be conflicting information in the owners manual. Just found this forum need to do my intro post for our old family war wagon 99 Tahoe.

According to the book it says if you have rear entertainment you should have a pair of wireless headphones and if you have a 3rd row screen which I do you should have a 2nd pair. Maybe I read it the wrong way but I thought I should only have one set. I bought 4 headphones to be safe.

that would be what it likely came with when new, but ya each screen has 2 infra red emitters aimed primarily at the the associated seat
so yes one for each seated passenger if you have bench seats you can have 6 headset if you wanted them. they are infra red you could have 30 headset's doesn't matter.
also there is 2 channels, i haven't tried the 2 channel difference but one would assume that they could listen separately to another input
