That’s not true. Almost no one looks at shocks on a trade in or purchase unless there is a reason to. Having locked up and/or leaking/blown shocks is the safety concern and what might lower resale value. If I get under there and saw Bilsteins, I’m happy. I won’t be happy about Arnott but as long as all of them match, I wouldn’t complain much but I would change them.
The yaw sensor is what detects a rollover, not the shocks. The suspension module might transmit some data to the stability system but since the ride height sensors are still there, that data would still get transmitted. The resistors go in place of the shocks and resistors do not care what they’re being used for, they’re just resistors. There are plenty of these trucks rolling around out there that didn’t even come with Mag Ride.
