15 yukon 50k service and failing

My old man had to go in to get the pinion seal replaced at 50k, and had them do all new fluids while it was there. Less and less is getting user serviceable. New 8L trans are sealed. Unless you know good mechanics or are one yourself, you're in trouble when you need new fluids. Not even a dipstick

Pretty soon the only user service option will be filling the fuel.

Yep, we had that done around 35k. It developed a nice rear end whine when letting off at hwy speeds.

We never noticed a whine but we have the volume up high all the time. we mostly noticed the huge puddle in the driveway and garage between the wheels
