Not sure why, the tire shop under inflated everything...severely. two of them had to be 5 PSI maybe, one was at 11 and another was at like 21... The guy told me he wasn't sure what to put them at, I would think at least 20 if not 30... Most cars tell you to put 30 plus PSI in the tires from what I've seen.
Anyway

Out with the bald 50,000mi Mud Terrains and 200,000mi 17x7.5 +31 factory wheels.
In with the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss all terrain "suv" tires on the Dorman 17x8 +24 later model steelies. Just enough offset the side walls don't rub the control arms otherwise would have kept the stock wheels.
The ride is super smooth and quiet, but I'm not a fan of the soft sidewall for cornering, I'm sure I'll get used to it. I've only had load range E tires on this until now. These are "STD" rated 44psi max.

I had a tire shop install the TPMS sensor I bought and when they tried to program the others, the LR decided it was dead so I had them install a new one there. But when they brought the truck around, I saw “service battery charging system “ on the DIC. I figured it wasn’t their fault so I drove it home and noticed the volt gauge fluctuated down to 8 and back to 14. I found semi loose connections where the positive wires connect to the post. It had a wing nut on there so I cleaned it all up and installed them with an actual nut so I could tighten it good. No more warnings. I hope that was it.

Finally got a chance to wash my Yukon.
It was a little windy but I washed it anyway since it had been months of snow and slush weather to where it looked like I just picked it up from driving around Iraq.
I will have to polish the wheels since they are starting to get some corrosion due to the amount of time between washes.

Feels good to drive a clean vehicle even though it is supposed to snow again on Friday.
Meh.
