Well we debadged our brand new 2016 Denali and we took the risk to go ahead and take off the belt line trim.

Well we hate the way it looks without the belt line mounding . We are looking to put them back on and wondering what adhesive was used OEM because my better half is having more OCD than me about it.

Just don't want to buy new ones when these are only a week old.

Thanks in advance !

Just FYI Belt line refers to the molding at the base of the window. Body side molding is what you're referring to. 3M 3552 tape is what you need. Make sure to clean the old tape off well with a razor blade. Don't cut the molding and don't cut a finger off.

I just looked up 3M 3552 and it is hook and loop tape.

I am referring to the chrome trim that tis mid door on the Denali.

I would think any thin 3M double sided tape would work just fine. As stated, make sure you take off the old tape for better adhesion .
